Meet your recruiters: introducing Inka Diddens

24-11-2021

Wondering who your first point of contact will be whilst considering to study a management degree program at MSM? What our Recruiters like most about working at MSM? How our Recruiters will help you to make the right decision? This and much more will be addressed in an upcoming series of blogs in which your recruiters will introduce themselves.

Hi, my name is Inka Diddens and I am Recruitment Officer at Maastricht School of Management (MSM) and mainly responsible for the Executive MBA and Online MBA. I joined MSM more than four years ago and truly enjoy my workplace, tasks and responsibilities, everyday challenges and the work environment. The current COVID-situation truly impacted my job. Instead of representing MSM at various educational events all over the world, I now meet potential students mostly online. Now we all are experts in zoom meetings :) but I cannot wait to travel the world again. This is also what I love to do in my free time.

I also value to spend time with my loved ones whenever I can, have a delicious meal together or go for long walks. And you can often find me in the gym doing bootcamp, yoga or Pilates. I am currently doing my yoga teacher training and would love to take sailing lessons next summer.

What do you like most about working at MSM?
I enjoy the boutique size of MSM which enables a lot of interaction within my team but also with colleagues from other departments and of course our students. I also find it truly inspirational that there is such a big diversity in terms of nationalities at MSM, not only within our staff and faculty but also within our student composition. It sounds cliché but it really gives a lot of energy and new insights.

How I help potential students to make the right decision…
Not one potential student is the same. It is all about building a connection and giving personal advice based on each individual’s expectation, motivation and ambitions. Given that there are hundreds of MBA programs and business schools all over the world to choose from, I can imagine that potential students find themselves in a jungle of opportunities.

I am also completely honest and if I have the feeling that MSM is not the best fit for a potential student, I will say it. At the end of the day an MBA is a big investment in terms of time and money, so it has to be the best possible fit.

How can you meet me?
You are welcome to drop me an email (Diddens@msm.nl) and we can set up a Zoom session. Alternatively, I can also give you a phone call. You can also keep an eye on our upcoming events for the winter and spring schedule. You can find the upcoming fairs and events on our website: https://www.msm.nl/news-events-and-blogs/events. We will soon start again with our online masterclass series and several educational events. We do hope that beginning of next year we can meet in person again.
