Two Executive MBA cohorts from Nanjing University visit MSM for an immersive learning experience

11-05-2026

In the past two weeks, we had the honour of welcoming two cohorts from our long-standing partner Nanjing University to Maastricht for an intensive week of academic learning, international exchange, and company visits.

The first group, consisting of 35 students from the Executive MBA in International Business and Innovation Management, arrived on 27 April 2026 for the course Design Thinking and Creativity. Throughout the week, students explored innovative approaches to problem-solving and creativity through lectures, discussions, and practical insights. The programme also included company visits to Stella Artois Brewery and the Philips Museum, where students attended an inspiring presentation by Tina Lilje, former Global Head of Customer Experience at Philips.

Soon after the departure of the first cohort, MSM welcomed another group of 35 students from the Executive MBA in Healthcare Management on 4 May 2026. During their stay in Maastricht, students participated in the course Innovation and Hatching in Healthcare, focusing on themes such as technological innovation in healthcare, AI developments, and service innovation. In addition to the classroom sessions, students visited Pathofinder Maastricht and the Zuyderland hospital to gain practical insights into healthcare innovation and entrepreneurship.

Both cohorts completed a dynamic and enriching week in Maastricht, combining academic knowledge with international perspectives and real-world business experiences. They returned to Nanjing with fresh ideas and valuable insights to further apply in their professional environments.
