MSM Visits Romania to celebrate the start of the Executive MBA Intake
On 21 and 22 November 2025, Maastricht School of Management visited its long-standing partner, Bucharest International School of Management (BISM), to celebrate the start of the latest Executive MBA intake. The visit marked the first time that the Dr. Diederik de Boer, Director a.i. Maastricht School of Management, travelled to Romania, a gesture that was greatly appreciated by the partner institution and participants, and that highlighted the continued strength of this collaboration.
The new cohort of a 24 mid-career professionals came together in Bucharest for an engaging two-day introduction programme. Designed to foster connection and prepare participants for their learning journey, the programme centred on personal reflections on mission, vision and life proposition. Activities such as a bonfire gathering, joint dinner, morning run and group games further strengthened the sense of community within the cohort.

These conversations underscored the shared ambition to continue broadening the reach and impact of the MSM–BISM partnership.
