Triple helix strengthened in Indonesia

05-02-2020

On Wednesday February 5, key stakeholders relevant for the Indonesian agricultural vocational education met in Bogor for a Triple Helix Establishment consultative meeting of the SAS21 project.

This Dutch funded project aims to improve demand-driven vocational training and education in poultry and dairy in Indonesia. It is a cooperation between MSM, the Vocational School of IPB University and the Aeres Group.

The meeting resulted in a strong commitment of the institutions present to cooperate on strategic and on operational level. In particular the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Education, the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (KADIN) and Frisian Flag. In the next months, two pilot projects will be developed showcasing how the different actors can work together for the benefit of the Indonesian economy. One of the ideas is to develop an app that would help small holders to get technical information and support.

The project SAS21: SMK Ayam dan Sapi is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
