MSM Romania students visit MSM for Research Methods course

28-01-2019

“The Research Methods course at MSM helped me to define my final MBA project. The course guided me in how to structure my project, where to look for information, how to process the information and how to define my research questions in order to narrow my research”. This is how MSM Romania Executive MBA student Stranici Gabriel described his experience after the intensive 4-day course at MSM in Maastricht.

The students of the 8th intake of the MSM Romania Executive MBA program were welcomed by MSM’s Dean a.i. Ms. Katalin Kovacs. Ms. Kovacs wished the students good luck with their course and an enjoyable time in Maastricht. The Research Methods course gives the students the opportunity to develop the basis of their final project. They learn how to define an appropriate literature review in order to determine their research questions and objectives. The students are also introduced to quantitative and qualitative research techniques, based on primary and secondary sources.

The Research Methods course is part of the joint MSM and MSM Romania Executive MBA program. “The Executive MBA program is a continuous learning experience. It is unique in its way by combining theory concepts with real life business cases. This perfect combination helps me to immediately apply what I learn in my day-to-day business activities,” said Stranici Gabriel.

For Carmen Revencu the diverse learning environment contributes to the business concepts with an entrepreneurial touch. “The Executive MBA definitely played a major role in recognizing my passions and in further building my professional path.”

Stranici Gabriel enjoyed the Research Methods course in Maastricht a lot. “The whole experience was something extraordinary. It was very interesting to interact with students from different cultures and to notice that we have a lot in common. I already look forward to come back to MSM.” In September 2019 the students will be back at MSM for the Graduation Ceremony.
