As part of the Ecobank Ghana Executive Leadership Development Programme (ELDP), MSM’s Dr. Diederik de Boer delivered an intensive three-day executive training on Sustainability and ESG Integration. The interactive, hands-on programme brought together 20 senior leaders from Ecobank Ghana.

Held in Accra from 22 to 24 January, the training covered key topics including ESG frameworks and reporting, Sustainable banking models and products, Climate risk management and mitigation, and Social impact and community engagement. On the third day, the programme concluded with case presentations by the participants, allowing the executives to apply insights to real-world banking challenges.

The Ecobank Ghana Executive Leadership Development programme (ELDP) is a comprehensive 12-month leadership journey designed to equip senior executives of  Ecobank Ghana, the country’s largest bank, with the strategic mindset, cultural agility, and future-focused orientation needed to drive the bank's digital transformation, maintain market leadership, and ensure sustainable growth. The programme is delivered in cooperation with Nova Business School Africa and besides the training modules, the programme includes mentorship and coaching sessions.

The next module in the programme, Driving Organizational Culture and Collaboration, will be delivered in March by MSM faculty member Oliver Olson and will also take place in Ghana.
