Mulu Burhane Hundera 

Mulu Hundera is an academic and practitioner with over 16 years of experience teaching, researching, and developing gender-inclusive policies. Her work primarily focuses on social inclusion, gender equality, female entrepreneurship, and management. Mulu has contributed to numerous development projects in low- and middle-income countries, conducting in-depth gender analyses and crafting gender equality strategies tailored to diverse sectors, including education, agriculture, health, and climate change.

Mulu has also provided strategic guidance on integrating gender-responsive and inclusive policies into development programs, driving measurable change. She has led various training initiatives on key topics such as female talent development, leadership, gender-responsive climate actions, and gender lens investing.

Mulu’s academic contributions include several high-impact publications in peer-reviewed journals, addressing themes such as work-family conflict, gender and peace, and the social role expectations of female entrepreneurs in developing countries. Her expertise also extends to advising organizations on fostering inclusive leadership and empowering women in entrepreneurship.

Thom Roelofs

Thom Roelofs studied Hospitality and Business Management at Hotelschool The Hague and is currently pursuing his degree in Docerend Theatermaker at Fontys Academy for the Arts in Tilburg. He works as an independent teacher for cultural organizations and collaborates with universities in Maastricht, Rotterdam, and Nijmegen to develop leadership training through improvisational theatre. With over 2400 hours teaching theatre to groups ranging from young children to corporate clients including Shell and the Belastingdienst, and 1000+ hours delivering communication and public speaking training, his expertise spans nonverbal communication, body language, and conscious verbal expression. He has directed projects for Fringe Amsterdam, The National Theatre, and international festivals, and worked as a TEDx speaker, podcast host, radio host, moderator, and master of conferences.
