23-09-2026

MSM visits partner in Tanzania to identify opportunities for future cooperation on strategy, marketing and organisational development.

From 19 to 21 August 2026, Dr. Diederik de Boer, Director a.i. / Director Expert Center for Emerging Economies / Associate Professor Sustainable Business Development, and Oliver Olson, lecturer marketing and strategy, visited the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in Tanzania for a fact-finding mission.

The visit aimed to gain a better understanding of the organisation, its activities and its strategic priorities, while exploring how MSM and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority can further work together. Particular attention was given to opportunities in the areas of strategy, marketing and organisational development.

During the visit, an initial assessment was carried out to identify current needs and areas for further development. The findings are now being discussed with the organisation’s management as a basis for defining the next steps in the collaboration.

Building on these discussions, MSM and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority are exploring further strategic processes and targeted training activities. The training activities are expected to focus on the management team and ICT staff, with the aim of strengthening organisational capacities in areas relevant to the organisation’s future development.
