Obituary Dr. Ulambayar Barsbold

With great sadness, we learned about the passing away of Dr. Ulambayar Barsbold.

Dr. Barsbold was the founder and Chief Executive Director of the Mongolian Business Development Agency (MBDA), a longstanding partner of Maastricht School of Management.

Dr. Ulambayar Barsbold leaves a large legacy behind throughout the Mongolian society and with MBDA. He will be remembered for what he has achieved for Mongolia over his many years of public service, his political and business life, as well as for MBDA. However, he will equally be remembered as the gentle person he always was.

Our hearts go out to Dr. Barsbold’s family. We wish them the strength and courage to bear this painful loss.

We also wish to express our sympathy to the management and employees of MDBA for the loss of Dr. Ulambayar Barsbold and his visionary leadership.
