MSM successfully delivers online Short Executive Programme on AI for Executives
From Monday 2 March to Friday 6 April 2026, MSM successfully delivered the online Short Executive Programme on AI for Executives. Over the course of five weeks (6–8 hours per week), 21 participants from 17 different countries engaged in an intensive and flexible learning journey designed to bridge strategic insight with practical application.
The programme was led by Adriana Seclaman and Mihaela Popescu and aimed to help professionals better understand how to apply and lead AI-driven change within their organisations. Through expert insights, real-world examples, interaction with peers and practical assignments, participants gained a clear view of both the opportunities and challenges of using AI in business strategy.
Participants from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds described the programme as insightful, relevant and highly applicable in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.
For Mr Koen Verjans(the Netherlands), the programme provided clarity in a fast-moving field:
“At the moment there is a lot of buzz around AI and its tools, but knowledge on how to handle this new technology from a leadership perspective is limited. The programme offers a thorough overview of possibilities, risks and best practices, and encourages you to actively apply AI yourself. One of my key takeaways is that AI adoption is already much further than one might expect.”
Ms Iris Hartevelt (the Netherlands) joined the programme with a strong interest in understanding how AI could impact her sector:
“I was interested in the programme because it offered the opportunity to learn step by step and reflect on my own working environment. I wanted to understand what AI could mean for the not-for-profit sector, both in improving efficiency and increasing effectiveness. I now see AI as an important tool that can significantly contribute to organisational processes and outcomes, while also requiring proper risk management.”
For Mr Samir Lahsaoui (Algeria), the programme offered both strategic insight and a valuable international learning experience:
“I decided to apply to strengthen my understanding of how AI can be applied in real business contexts and to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. I particularly valued the multidisciplinary and multicultural environment, as well as the strong support from the teaching team. My main takeaway is a clearer and more structured vision of how AI can create business value, along with a better understanding of its strategic implications and responsible use.”
Mr Oana Octavian (Romania) highlighted the programme’s depth and flexibility:
“AI is becoming the norm across every company, and I saw the need to build a strong foundation to lead effectively in the AI era. The programme exceeded my expectations in both depth and academic rigour. The flexible format made it easy to combine with a busy schedule. I learned that AI requires a structured and critical approach, with awareness of both its potential and its limitations.”
Ms Hiba Al Naabi (Oman) emphasised both the relevance and practical value of the programme:
“The title immediately caught my attention and reflected a very real and current need for leaders to better understand AI. It felt highly relevant to our work and responsibilities, and I’m glad to say it fully met my expectations. This was one of the best programmes I have attended. The platform was very easy to navigate, and much of the knowledge presented was new and insightful for me. Even though it was an online course, we were still able to engage in meaningful discussions with colleagues from different professional backgrounds and share valuable experiences. My key takeaway is that while AI is evolving rapidly, human oversight remains essential. Strong governance and clear guardrails are extremely important to ensure AI is used responsibly and effectively.”
