MSM Corporate Week 2025: A Gateway to Global Careers and Local Connections
From June 2–6, the Maastricht School of Management (MSM) hosted its annual Corporate Week 2025, an intensive five-day event that brought together students, industry professionals, alumni, and multinational companies for a week of workshops, company presentations, and networking opportunities. With a dynamic mix of corporate insights and personal development, Corporate Week continues to be a cornerstone of the MSM Master in Management and MBA experience.
This year’s edition featured interactive sessions from 13 companies, including global players like Medtronic, Boston Scientific, DHL, UPS, DAF Trucks, CGI, and Maprima, as well as regional innovators such as Phenospex, Meet the Youngsters, and the Expat Center. Students engaged directly with industry representatives, gaining insider perspectives on business operations, hiring practices, and company cultures across a wide range of sectors.
The program also included hands-on workshops in Personal Branding, Career Agility, and the uniquely Dutch-themed session by Open Dutch Doors, helping students to better understand local job market expectations and improve their positioning as future professionals in the Netherlands and beyond. “Corporate Week was a valuable opportunity to learn about different companies and industries. It allowed me to build meaningful connections I wouldn’t have been able to establish through online platforms alone,” said Duygu (Master in Management) from Turkey.
A key highlight of the week was the alumni networking event, where MSM graduates returned to share candid stories about their career journeys—offering students a realistic and inspiring view of what’s possible after MSM. “The alumni were very good. I really appreciated how approachable they were. They didn’t just talk about the good parts of their careers but also shared how they faced setbacks. It was motivating to see how they pushed through,” shared Hysni (Master in Management) from Kosovo.
“The purpose of Corporate Week is not just to get job offers but to build your network and gain insight into what kind of companies align with your values,” said Leah (Master in Management) from the United States. “I walked away with a much clearer idea of where I want to go and what kind of companies I want to work for in the Netherlands.”
For MBA student Leon from South Africa, the week was “an engaging and interactive experience… gaining a better understanding of organizational cultures and operational dynamics that are rarely visible from an external perspective.”
Whether students arrived with a clear career plan or an open mind, Corporate Week provided the space to explore, connect, and take decisive next steps. “It gave me a strong push to take action and keep moving forward,” Hysni added.
As MSM continues to bridge education and industry, Corporate Week remains a testament to the school’s commitment to preparing globally-minded professionals for impactful careers.
