MSM’s degree programs re-accredited by AMBA

19-01-2021

The International Accreditation Advisory Board (IAAB) of the Association of MBAs (AMBA) has confirmed the re-accreditation of Maastricht School of Management’s residential and global MBA, Master of Arts in Management (MM) and DBA programs. MSM received its first AMBA accreditation in 2005 and has now been reaccredited for the third time in a row.

This confirms that MSM’s education is amongst the best in the world, as only 2% of the business schools worldwide enjoy the prestigious AMBA accreditation.

The panel commended MSM among others for its dedicated and collegiate team committed to the academic and pastoral well-being of students. The panel was impressed by the employability statistics of MSM’s MBA graduates, especially in the light of COVID-19, and praised the competency framework of the MM program and the clarity of its target markets.

In addition, the panel considered the scale and quality of MSM’s international capacity development activities as a distinctive asset to effectively differentiate MSM’s programs.

The quality of MSM’s programs is reaffirmed by its other accreditations. In addition to AMBA, MSM’s residential and global degree programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), and the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE). MSM’s residential MM and MBA programs are also accredited by the Dutch – Flemish Accreditation Organization (NVAO). MSM holds institutional accreditation by the Association for Transnational Higher Education Accreditation (ATHEA).
