Online Masterclass: Leadership in Crisis

14-07-2020

On Thursday 9 July 2020 from 19.00 hrs – 20.00 hrs (CEST), Dr. Stephanie Jones, Associate Professor of Organizational Behavior at Maastricht School of Management will conduct a free online Masterclass on “Leadership in Crisis". This masterclass is part of an online Masterclass series during which experts will discuss different business areas in the light of COVID-19.

About the online Masterclass
The COVID-19 crisis has put new and unique pressures on all leaders trying to manage their teams and organizations. Large or small, public or private, long-established or relatively new start-ups – no business has escaped the impact. Many leaders are fighting for the survival of their companies. But the fears and worries of their team members are as varied and unique as the team members themselves. How can leaders motivate and inspire their team to work together when morale can be at rock-bottom and frustration, loneliness and isolation have taken over?

This free online masterclass is designed for leaders at all levels and sectors, for students, and for anyone who may be comforted to learn that they are not alone.

During this one-hour online Masterclass, Dr. Stephanie Jones will show how leaders can cope with the impact of COVID-19 and why they may need to modify their approach to leading their teams. You will leave this masterclass with a deeper understanding of the demands of leadership in crisis and increased insights into how to lead your own team more effectively in the situation that COVID-19 might have brought upon you or your organization.

At the end of the Masterclass, you will also have the opportunity to ask your questions.
