About Effective Team Leadership Skills
The ability to lead teams and organizations of all shapes and sizes is an essential skill to improve team and organizational performance. Team leaders and organizational leaders need to have a solid understanding of group dynamics and must have the skills to lead without authority, to engage team members, and to leverage constructive conflicts yet minimize destructive conflicts. An organizational leader must also be able to build good relationships with external stakeholders that can positively or negatively influence the performance of the organization. However, leadership starts with the ability and willingness to have a good, long look into the mirror!

you will get you a glimpse on how MSM’s 5-day executive “Effective Team Leadership Skills” will give you a better understanding on how group dynamics work, the importance of being an effective communicator and a good conflict mediator as well as being an independent learner.

The “Effective Team Leadership Skills” program is designed for managers and team leaders in medium to large organizations (either in private or public sector), and small business owners, with 2 – 10 years’ experience in managing and leading people.

About Mr. Philippe Leliaert

Philippe is Consultant, Trainer, and Coach in projects that focus on future-proofing organisations, having 30+ years’ of experience and expertise in knowledge & performance management and organisational transformation. While most of his career has been working for or in the private sector, including at world-leading companies in the chemicals and automotive industries, he also completed publicly funded projects a.o. in the PR China and Southern Africa.

Philippe is a adjunct faculty member at United International Business Schools (Brussels, Antwerp, Amsterdam) and Maastricht School of Management, and occasional visiting lecturer at Business Schools in Europe, Northern Africa, South America, and South-East Asia. His lectures focus on Leadership of High Performing Teams and on Organisational Behaviour. He is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars on the identification, measurement and management of Intellectual Capital.

Philippe has a Master of Science in Electronic Engineering (Ghent) and in Opto-Electronic and LASER Devices (Heriot-Watt, Edinburgh), and obtained his MBA at INSEAD (France). He is Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) at the Institute of Internal Auditors since 1995. He is presently enrolled in a DBA program at United International Business Schools and is writing a dissertation on Leadership & Followership.
