Online Masterclass: Wage Negotiation

12-11-2020

On Thursday 12 November 2020 from 15.00 hrs – 16.00 hrs (CET), Dave Cass Director of Education and Executive Development at MSM will conduct a free online Masterclass on “wage negotiations". This masterclass is part of an online Masterclass series during which experts will discuss different business areas.

About the online masterclass
One of the most common questions from new graduates having received their first job offer is “should I negotiate my pay”. For many already in work, the thought of asking for a raise immediately starts the adrenaline flowing which can lead to a poor approach or worse, a combative atmosphere from the start. Similarly, competent new line managers can immediately feel completely out of their depth if and when one of their employees asks for a wage increase.

Wage negotiation doesn't need to be a combative experience and regardless of your role in the negotiation itself, there are common elements, options and pitfalls to be considered to achieve a mutually agreeable solution.

This free online masterclass is aimed at new graduates entering the job market, individuals already in employment or new line managers who wish to deepen their understanding of the subject and increase their chances of success.

At the end of the Masterclass, you will also have the opportunity to ask your questions.
