Online Masterclass: Geopolitical Disruptions: Exploring the Near and Distant Future of Global Business

17-06-2025

On Tuesday, 17 June 2025 from 3:00 – 4:00 pm (CEST), Prof. Harald Sander will conduct the online masterclass Geopolitical Disruptions: Exploring the Near and Distant Future of Global Business.

About the online masterclass

Rising geopolitical conflicts, trade wars and a surge in a nationalistic populism are threatening the post-WWII global economic order as we knew it. More than ever, the future of today’s business environment will be decided at the intersection of geopolitics and economics. What does all this imply for global business?

In this online masterclass, Professor Harald Sander will explore the potential consequences of geopolitical disruptions for global business and countries. Next to identifying the largely negative short-run consequences, we will also explore whether and where “new windows of opportunity” could emerge over a longer-term horizon.

By attending the online masterclass you will learn that by being aware of these threats and opportunities, you can strive to make more rational and informed decisions that better take into account the complexities of the rapidly changing global business environment.

At the end of the masterclass you will have the opportunity to ask your questions.
