Online Masterclass: Business Plans – The Essential Components for Start-Ups

06-02-2024

On Tuesday, 6 February 2024 from 15.00 hrs. – 16.00 hrs. (CET), Mr. David Dingli, lecturer in Entrepreneurship, Supply Chain Management and Global Corporate Strategy, will conduct the online masterclass "Business Plans - The Essential Components for Start-Ups".

About the online masterclass

Whether you are looking for investment or not, writing a business plan enables the entrepreneur to analyse the business in detail. You might think you have a brilliant product or service idea; however, are there customers out there just as keen on your offer?

A comprehensive, well-crafted Business Plan can attract the attention of potential investors or money lenders, such as bank managers.

The plan must cover the resources needed, the marketing decisions, the demand forecast, operational processes, human resource requirements as well as financial projections, always keeping in mind that a business is a moving target and that competition will react to your entry into the market and industry dynamics will change.

The process of writing the plan and the research needed to support the claims made in the plan challenge the entrepreneur’s business idea to the limit.

The Business Plan will give you confidence. It is a holistic view of your business idea; you will know if it is worth pursuing by the end.

Turn your passion into a successful business venture. A well-written Plan is the foundation for business success and for your dreams to come true.

The Masterclass will cover the following components of the Business Plan.

  • The Business Idea
  • The Industry – Structure and Competition.
  • The Marketing Plan
  • The Operations and Technology Plan
  • The Human Resource Plan
  • The Financial Plan
  • Key Risks and Assumptions

At the end of the Masterclass, you will also have the opportunity to ask your questions.
