MSM Graduation Ceremony 2022

On 15 September 2022, MSM organizes its Annual Graduation Ceremony. During the Ceremony the degrees of Master in Management, Master of Business Administration and Doctor of Business Administration will be awarded.

The Ceremony will start at 14.00 hrs CEST and will end at 17.00 hrs CEST, followed by a dinner reception until 23.00 hrs CEST.

The awarding of the degrees and awards is the most important part of the Ceremony - the long-expected moment for our students. To celebrate this memorable moment, the Ceremony will be enriched with keynote and alumni addresses, graduate valedictory speeches and musical intermezzos. 

The Graduation Ceremony will be broadcast through a livestream, so graduates who cannot attend, as well as family and friends of graduates, and other guests can follow the ceremony online.

Speakers

Prof. Dr. Damayanti Buchori

Damayanti Buchori is a Professor at the Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, Bogor Agricultural University, and also holds the position as Chair of the Center for Transdisciplinary and Sustainability Sciences (CTSS), Bogor Agricultural University. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Bogor Agricultural University, Master from the Entomology Department, Universty of Illinois at Urbana, IL, USA and her doctorate in Ecology, Evolution and Behaviour, Biology Department, Indiana University, Bloomington, USA.

An insect ecologist by training, her work covers teaching, research and community works with various development projects. Damayanti has focused her research on agriculture-conservation issues ranging from pest management, sustainable agriculture, biodiversity conservation and land use change.

In the past 15 years, her work has expanded to landscape approach research where the focus of biodiversity, institution and policy are interlinked. Her interest currently includes science-policy work, ie. how science and policy should be intertwined to produce evidence-based policy that are greatly needed.

Damayanti is also active in many international platforms. In 2002-2004, she was a member of the Task Force 7 on Environmental Sustainability of the Millenium Development Goal, United Nations, New York. In 2013-2016, she was one of the lead authors for Pollinators, Pollination and Food Production- an assessment Report by IPBES (Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services).  She is currently appointed as Lead Co-Chair for Task Force 4 on Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture, for the T20-2022 engagement group, Indonesia

Yeva Hyusyan

Yeva Hyusyan is the Co-Founder and CEO of SoloLearn, the world’s largest online community learning platform where 20 million coders learn, create, and share programming content with peers.

Prior to founding SoloLearn, Yeva built a startup accelerator for mobile games, consumer apps, and ag-tech solutions. In previous roles, she implemented World Bank and USG programs in business, education, and sales, and ran developer ecosystem development and strategic partnerships as a General Manager at Microsoft.

Yeva holds an MBA in Corporate Strategy from Maastricht School of Management (the Netherlands), an MS in International Economics from Yerevan State University (Armenia), and completed the Executive Program from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.

Yeva has been named to the Crunchbase-compiled list of 50 Female Entrepreneurs To Watch in 2019.

Hoda Mansour

Hoda Mansour is SAP Head of Business Process Intelligence – SAP Signavio Products South Europe, Middle East and Africa, a region that covers 75 countries.

Hoda worked for leading multinational software companies including SAP, Oracle & Microsoft in regional and global capacities, where she lived and worked in three different continents (Europe, Asia and Africa).

Hoda joined SAP in Dubai in 2013 where she held various positions including COO for UAE and Oman and Managing Director for SAP Egypt & Frontier Countries before being promoted to her current position in September 2021.

Given her transformational impact, Forbes acknowledged her leadership by recognizing her as one of Forbes Top5 Women in Technology in the Middle East in March 2022, in addition to Forbes Top 50 Power Businesswomen for 2022 and 2021, which was on the back of the previous selection by Forbes as one of Top 100 Power Businesswomen in the Middle East in 2020 & Forbes Top 100 most Influential Women in the Middle East for 2018. 

Hoda is a board member of the American Chamber of Commerce since June 2021 and the elected vice-president and board member of the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce since September 2020.

Hoda holds a B.Sc. with Distinction & Honors in Engineering from Alexandria University in addition to Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) with Distinction from Maastricht School of Management.
