Kyle D. Smith

Kyle D. Smith (Swiss/South African national) is the AI Enablement Lead for Siemens Smart Infrastructure, driving the adoption of Generative and Agentic AI to enhance productivity and enable enterprise-scale AI transformation. He works with distributed hybrid Agile teams across Portugal, Switzerland, Germany, and India, focusing on AI-enabled alignment and scalable collaboration in complex global environments.

Previously, he worked as a researcher at the University of St. Gallen and supported the Swiss government on sustainability initiatives related to the United Nations Agenda 2030 (SDGs). He holds M.Sc. degrees in Computer Science from the University of Camerino and Business Information Systems from the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland.

His research focuses on Agentic AI, human–AI collaboration, and enterprise adoption in hybrid Agile organizations, with an emphasis on measurable productivity impact.
