Amy Wang, MBA

Amy Wang holds a BSc in Economics (China), an MBA in International Business (NL), and completed an executive training program at Harvard School of Business (USA). Gold medallist of the National Intellectual Contest in International Business (China), decorated Ridder in de Leopoldsorde (Belgium).

She began her career in the corporate world, working in senior international trade and customer service functions in several Chinese and American companies.

After finishing her stay in the Netherlands, Amy continued her career in Europe. She started working at the Maastricht School of Management (MSM) in the Netherlands, where she held various positions over years before becoming Director Outreach and Associate Dean for Innovation and Corporate Relations of MSM. In this capacity she led global teams to promote innovative business education, enhance organizational capacity building and facilitate public-private partnership.

She also worked three years in the Commissionership of the Belgian government (‘FOD Economie’) as Project Director managing World Expos and international exhibitions in several countries in Europe and Asia.

Amy joined Noordvlees Group in Belgium in 2016 as Director Asia, responsible for formulating and implementing international development strategy (with a focus on Asia) for the group. In just a few years, Amy has established the group as a key player in the sector on Asian markets.

Returning to MSM in 2021, Amy assumes the position of Director Education.
