Maastricht School of Management and the Rwanda Management Institute (RMI) have concluded a partnership, after earlier cooperation activities in the area of leadership development for more than 15 years. In one of the first projects of the new partnership, the organizations will provide a leadership development program for the Rwandan Police Academy (RPA).
The Police Academy is organizing the program for senior officers from the Rwandan Police Force as well as officers from regional forces in among others Kenya, Uganda and Ethiopia.
The Rwandan Police Academy has selected RMI and MSM to jointly conduct the program. The MSM team will also work with experts from the Dutch and South African police force.
The program will be conducted over a period of 6 months, with intermittent deliveries by a team of MSM and South African experts, with background in the areas of leadership, psychology and police operations.
This is a number of recent initiatives by MSM in the context of its growing portfolio of programs aimed at strengthening governance and public policy in developing countries.
