Maastricht School of Management has retained its first place in the 4 Palms of Excellence category as a top business school with significant international influence. Also the Full-time MBA program has been ranked #2 in The Netherlands and #14 in Western Europe. Ms. Kovacs accepted the award on behalf of Professor Naudé, Dean of MSM at the 2015 Eduniversal “Palmes of Excellence” Awards Ceremony.

Eduniversal Business School School Rankings held its 2015 World Convention from October 12th-15th in Boston. MSM was represented by Ms. Kati Kovacs, Associate Dean Global Education Programs.

Ms. Kovacs also presented in the plenary session called Global collaborations and alliances in business education. Bringing added value to Business School-to-Business. She herself initiated the plenary session title as it is essential that the development of new collaborative structures are discussed in several international platforms. In her presentation Ms. Kovacs discussed MSM’s approach in creating global alliances and how the approach has matured over the years. She also talked about the current trends in the developments in internationalization and partnerships and how business education will have to adapt to cater to the needs of the changing demographics and changing needs of our stakeholders.

“The event was absolutely delightful”, said Ms. Kovacs. “We are proud to have retained our ranking and will aim to include our new Executive MBA in Sports Management and our Master in Management program in next year’s ranking. The presentations were also exciting and I’ve had a chance to reconnect with some of our own treasured partners such as Dr. Daniya Assanova from Almaty Management University in Kazakhstan and Professor Ruben Guevara from CENTRUM Católica, Peru. In addition, I’ve met new colleagues where there is great potential to develop exciting new initiatives hopefully in the near future. I also look forward to strengthen our ties with Eduniversal and with institutions from this great network”.
