Leo Kerklaan is an experienced strategy professional, teacher and writer. His strategic work has spanned business cases in most industries and in many regions of the world, assisting with both continuing plans and one-off challenges. Leo studied Law (The Hague Business School) and Economics (Amsterdam University). He gained long years of management experience as: Operations Manager (Netherlands Postal Bank), Quality Assurance Manager (Fokker Aircraft), and Training and Development Manager (Fokker Aircraft).
Leo’s consulting assignments include both the recovery of strategies and the implementation of strategic performance management. Leo’s passion is to bring the organization of his clients to higher performance levels based on continuous improvement practices.
Leo is a frequent lecturer at MSM and has executed over 50 missions in various countries like Tanzania, Ethiopia, Yemen, Suriname, Indonesia, Vietnam and Rwanda.

I had the opportunity to attend one of Mr. Leo Kerklaans' Strategic Leadership classes at Maastricht School of Management. It has truly been one of the most effective courses I completed within one week time frame. Leo really challenged our group to think outside of the box. For me, the part about key metrics, was so valuable because it gave me more concrete skills, to measure progress or impact within my organization. Dorus Evekink' background includes almost 35 years of international management expertise in export,sales and marketing in FMCG sector (mechanical dental care products) for multinational firms that involved field sales,alliance formation, license activities and worldwide export activities. Although the main accent of his activities were concentrated in the Far East Region for which he was for many years posted in Singapore initially he worked for a number of years in sales and marketing in Eastern Europe and various Middle East countries. During his posting in Singapore were he had as Managing Director total operational responsibility for the region, he a.o. concluded technical license cooperation agreements on with local manufacturers in India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia.
His credentials include diplomas from INSEAD (Paris/Singapore) on Strategic Management Asian Pacific Region and from Nyenrode Business University (the Netherlands) on Advanced Management.
