Business Development Services in a Value Chain Context

Between August 2011 and January 2104, MSM implemented a project in which Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the agricultural sector were supported so that they could become eligible for financial support and benefit from the SME Agricultural Impact Fund. The business development services project consisted of three main activities:

Analysis of 18 agricultural value chains such as Tea, Sugar, Coffee, Raw Meat, Agri-tourism, Sunflower, Grain, High End Vegetables, Avocados, Dairy, Poultry and Nuts.
Development of bankable business proposals
Business development support services for those businesses assisted by the SME investment fund.
