Deferment Policy
It is possible to defer your admission if you are unable to attend the program. If you wish to do so, please contact us as soon as possible at admissions@msm.nl. We will then reserve a place for you in the next intake. Please note that deferment is only possible for two years. You are not required to deposit another € 75. If you do not enroll during the two year period, you will have to file a new application and again pay the application fee.
Financial Assistance
If you need financial assistance in order to study at MSM, we strongly recommend that you contact international agencies in advance of your study program at MSM. There are also a number of nongovernmental donor organizations in the Netherlands and abroad that may have funds for this purpose. Individuals seeking this type of assistance are advised to apply to the nearest office of these organizations.

Refund Policies
If you withdraw from the Program after the admission letter has been sent but prior to obtaining all visa requirements, only the application fee of € 75 will be due.
Should you withdraw from the Program after paying the deposit, but before the start of the Program, the deposit of € 1,000 will not be returned. Visa costs (€ 250) are not reimbursed in any situation.
Should you withdraw from the Program after paying the tuition fee but before the start of the Program, the tuition fee will be reimbursed, less the amount equal to the deposit payment of € 1,000.
If your visa application is not successful, the tuition fee and the deposit paid will be refunded. An amount of € 300 will be deducted from the tuition fee to cover administration costs.
If, during the foundation segment, you decide to withdraw from the Program and choose not to take another course at MSM, you will receive a refund for the remaining segments of the academic year.
If you decide to withdraw during the remainder of the Academic Year you will not receive a refund, regardless of the reason for your withdrawal.
Obtaining a Visa
Candidates who are citizens of the member states of the European Union do not need a visa to study in the Netherlands. Candidates who are citizens of countries other than the member states of the European Union need to apply for a visa. We will assist these candidates in obtaining their visa through our Student Affairs Office.
Financial Suspension
All academic services will be withheld from participants who are in financial default with MSM. No diplomas or transcripts will be issued until outstanding fees have been paid in full.
