Deferment Policy
It is possible to defer your admission if you are unable to attend the program. If you want to do so, please contact us as soon as possible at admissions msm.nl. We will then reserve a place for you in the next intake. Please note that deferment is only possible for two years. You are not required to deposit another € 75.
If you do not enroll during the two year period, you will have to file a new application and pay the application fee again.
Financial Assistance
If you need financial assistance to study at MSM, we strongly recommend that you contact international agencies in advance of your study program at MSM. There are also a number of nongovernmental donor organizations in the Netherlands and abroad that may have funds for this purpose. Individuals looking for this type of assistance are advised to apply to the nearest office of these organizations.
Scholarships may also be granted by the Dutch government to foreign students through NUFFIC, within the framework of cultural agreements concluded between the Netherlands and other countries. Information on how to apply for these scholarships is available at your nearest Dutch Embassy or Consulate.

Refund Policies
IIf you withdraw from the Program after the admission letter has been sent but prior to obtaining all visa requirements, only the application fee of € 75 will be due.
Should you withdraw from the Program after admission has been granted and the tuition fee has been paid, the tuition fee will be returned. However, € 300 will be deducted from this fee to cover administrative costs. Visa costs (€ 250) are not reimbursed in any situation.
If your visa application is not successful, the tuition fee paid will be refunded. An amount of € 300 plus the costs of your visa (€ 250) will be deducted from the tuition fee to cover administration costs.
If, during the foundation segment of the Program, you decide to withdraw from the Program and choose not to take another course at MSM, you will receive a refund for the remaining segments of the academic year.
If you decide to withdraw during the remainder of the Academic Year you will not receive a refund, regardless of the reason for your withdrawal.
Obtaining a Visa
Candidates who are citizens of the member states of the European Union, do not need a visa to study in the Netherlands. Candidates who are citizens of countries other than the member states of the European Union need to apply for a visa. We will assist these candidates in obtaining their visa through our Student Affairs Office.
Specialization Cancellation
MSM has the right to cancel the offering of a specialization if there is not a sufficient number of students requesting that specialization.
Financial Suspension
All academic services will be withheld for participants who are in financial default with MSM. No diplomas or transcripts will be issued until outstanding fees have been paid in full.
