Palestinian Territories - 2008

The overall project objective of this tailor made training for the Palestinian Polytechnic University (PPU) is to tackle one of the PPUs main strategic goals: ‘Assuring quality in administrative issues’. The project plays an important role in assisting the PPUs desire to enhance its ability to serve its members and increase the competitiveness and advancement of higher education in Palestine.
The program delivered six short training courses for the target group of 20 senior managers (Vice Presidents, Directors, Deans of Department, Executive staff) in Leadership & Governance, Strategic Management, Change Management, Organizational Performance Management, Networking & Business Cooperation, Problem Analysis and Decision Making. The training included study tours to the Netherlands training in change management, financial management, fundraising and project proposal writing and study visits to other model of university (Open University, Heerlen) and educational planning institutes (UNESCO Institute of Educational Planning Paris).
