Selection Criteria
Applicants for this Refresher Course should demonstrate a level of involvement in training initiatives, for example working as internal or external training consultants (i.e. working in/managing a training or HR department or working as an consultant/advisor specialized in training issues), trainers or lecturers involved in management training.
- Be mid-career professionals with at least three years' work experience;
- Be an NFP alumni, having completed any NFP-funded training or education course at least two years prior to the planned starting date of the refresher course;
- In principle all 20 participants will be selected from the NFP alumni. Only in exceptional cases, in particular to maintain gender, sector and regional balance, a few (not more than 20%), colleagues of NFP alumni will be selected to join NFP alumni and attend the course. These colleagues should be direct colleagues who work in the same organization or organizational unit of the NFP alumnus.
- Be employed in an area to which the course will make a relevant contribution;
- have a clear-cut, functional relationship with a relevant organization and be in a position to introduce the newly acquired skills and knowledge into that organization;
- Be a national of one of the following Asian countries: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand or Vietnam;
- Be available for the entire period of the course.
