Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the program, the successful participant:
- Understands the difference between training for impact and training for activity
- Can identify the training need in relation to the business, performance and the environment need
- Will practice conducting Training Needs Analysis
- Will be able to conduct client interviews
- Understands the different requirements in training adults and training undergraduates
- Is able to identify the work environment variables that hinder the transfer of learning
- Is able to identify and describe interventions that have to be taken to make an impact on the business by training
- Understands the basic concepts of training design and the development of a training program
- Has an overview of some of the different tools that can be used within training delivery and when these can be used, especially the use of interactive training methods
- Is able to deliver a short interactive training session and provide/receive feedback
