Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP)
The ACBSP is the premier accrediting association for business schools and programs with a focus on teaching excellence. The association is focused on what occurs in the classroom while encouraging scholarly research.
The Maastricht School of Management is accredited by the ACBSP to offer the following business degrees:
- The Doctor of Business Administration - DBA
- The Master of Science in International Business - MSc
- The Master of Business Administration - MBA
The ACBSP develops, promotes, and recognizes best practices that contribute to continuous improvement of business education and accredits qualified business programs.
ACBSP acknowledges the importance of scholarly research and inquiry and believes that such activities facilitate improved teaching. Institutions are strongly encouraged to pursue a reasonable mutually beneficial balance between teaching and research. And further, ACBSP encourages faculty involvement within the contemporary business world to enhance the quality of classroom instruction and to contribute to student learning.
The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs granted accreditation status at ceremonies held in Las Vegas, Nevada on June 27, 2000.
