General InformationThe MSM Information Center is a sophisticated multi-functional resource center. Students have access to a wealth of knowledge that can be applied to every aspect of their study. The renovation in 2007 transformed the Information Center from a "traditional library" into a multi-functional learning resource center that features the most advanced online knowledge tools. The ICT-platform has 50 computers and state-of-the-art-facilities to deliver computer based courses. The Information Center specializes in English language literature in the field of management, finance, information technology, operations, environment, accounting, marketing, tourism and economics. E-mail Information Center: infocenter  msm.nlCollectionThe Information Center contains some 17.000 books. The majority of the journal subscriptions is available via databases in electronic format. There is also a growing collection of research papers by MSM students worldwide, as well as theses, dissertations, newspapers and dictionaries. An international thesaurus is used to classify the materials.Information Center PortalAt the beginning of 2010 the Information Center created a portal, where registered students and staff can have access to the library catalogue, databases, electronic title list and other relevant links. Further design and implementation of the portal is part of the plans for 2010.At the end of 2009 the MSM Information Center installed new library software, V-smart. V-smart is a web-based integrated library software made by Infor. The Information Center implements V-smart to simplify the management of the library collection and to provide faculty and students improved access to a wide array of information resources. Country Information FacilitiesThe computers in the Information Center are fully equipped with multimedia monitors, Internet access and many software applications. Scanning and printing facilities are also available in the Information Center. The Interlibrary Loan SYstem enables students to retrieve information that is not present in the Information Center from other libraries.At the Information Desk students can buy copy cards (€ 1.20 for 15 copies / € 2.80 for 35 copies).
