Admission Requirements

The main prerequisite for admission to the MBA Program is a sound academic background. Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university, preferably (not required) with a foundation in economics and management.

Proficiency in English is absolutely essential to complete the MBA Program. Applicants whose previous education has been in a language other than English, must submit evidence of proficiency in the English language by achieving the following scores:

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language)
80 internet-based test ,
213 computer-based test,
550 paper-based test.
IELTS score of 6.0
A corresponding standard on an alternative test.

A GMAT score of at least 500 is the desirable prerequisite for enrolment. Three or more years of relevant work experience is required.

Admission Procedures

Candidates are admitted to MSM on a competitive basis. To apply for admission to one of MSM’s Programs, please fill out our online application form .

In order to complete the application process we also need the following documents:

Copies of bachelor/master degree
Academic transcripts
Proof of English proficiency
Two reference letters
Personal Resume
Motivational Letter

All letters and documents must be submitted in, or accompanied by certified translations in English, the official working language at MSM.

As soon as we have received your online application we will provide you with the details on how to submit the required documents and the non-refundable application fee of € 75.

Applications are reviewed immediately on receipt. However, the deadline for applications is June 1st of the respective year in which the candidate wishes to enroll. Each application will be reviewed on an individual basis. The Graduate Admissions Board will make a decision based on the candidate’s prior academic performance, work experience and overall achievements and goals. We will inform the applicants of the Admissions Board's decision as soon as possible.

MSM reserves the right to withdraw an offer of admission if candidates fail to satisfy all requirements or if it is determined that admission was obtained through the use of falsified, altered or embellished information.

Transfer Credit

MSM welcomes applicants for transfer admission, in particular to the Integration and/or Focus Segments of the MBA Program. Acceptance to MSM as a transfer participant is based largely on the Graduate Admission Board’s evaluation of the participant’s previous academic record. Transfer credit is granted for comparable academic work at other institutions.

Normally, participants interested in transferring to MSM must meet the following requirements:

Submit a completed application with a € 75 application fee which is nonrefundable and covers all administrative expenses
Provide two reference letters
Provide official university transcripts
Submit a catalog from the previous institution attended
