E ffective Partnership Management (EPM)
16 October - 06 November 2010 / 17 October - 04 November 2011

Creating "collaborative advantage"
Partnerships between public sector, private sector and civil society became increasingly prominent throughout the last years. Such partnerships are supposed to create ‘collaborative advantage’ by achieving results that could not have been achieved on an individual basis. However, effective partnership management faces a variety of challenges. Business, government and civil society organizations often speak a different language, have diverse interests, perspectives, and operate in a context of specific organizational cultures. To overcome these divides proves to be a challenging task for partnership managers. Offering a unique combination of both theoretical foundation of partnerships for sustainable development and experiential knowledge on how these approaches can be best put in practice, this training provides you with the skills and tools needed for successful partnership management.
